The front page of this morning’s Inquirer had a ridiculous bait-and-switch[*] article about a Turkish expat involved in charter schools across the country. But the thing that killed me right from the start was this:

Fethullah Gulen is a major Islamic political figure in Turkey, but he lives in self-imposed exile in a Poconos enclave…

“self-imposed exile”? In the Poconos? When you’re 80 years old and living in the Monroe County woods, it’s called “being retired”.
